Dr Claire Tan

Claire is a communications professional blessed with diverse career experiences traversing academe, editorial, corporate training, media, and government. In her 10 years in the government sector, Claire has worked in five Ministries handling comms research, press relations, crisis comms, marketing comms, social media, and nation branding. She was the first civilian (and female) to be appointed Director of Public Comms/Press Secretary in Singapore’s Ministry of Defence in 2014. She is responsible for setting MCI’s National Marketing Office in 2017 and is currently setting up a new SG Brand Office.
