Merlee Cruz-Jayme

“What will it take for more women to be in leadership roles? For Merlee Jayme, there has to be a clear understanding of the growth and advancement barriers women face today. Having first-hand experience, genuine empathy, and being armed with a new role in the network, she went into action.

Merlee conceptualized, led teams, facilitated events, and successfully launched programs for women empowerment, racial equality, LGBTQIA+/gender equality, and mental wellness. These programs delved into women issues and helped an entire network be aware of the DEI challenges they faced. Under her leadership, the teams created, initiated solutions, and actively pushed these critical agendas forward.

In all her speaking engagements, Award Show jury duties, and mentorship programs, she also made it a point to push the agenda of Asian women representation. She simply believed that the world should see more of these amazing women succeeding in the world.”
