So when Michelle was offered the role of Chief Talent Officer for GroupM back in July 2019, she knew it was an opportunity she couldn’t pass up to radically transform the most important part of the business – its people. Bringing over 18 years’ experience, Michelle set about delivering on her key objective – to fully tap into GroupM’s talent potential and create the talent advantage and market competitiveness.
As COVID-19 broke out in early 2020, this presented Michelle with her biggest challenge yet. Thanks to her unique skillset, Michelle was able to quickly organise her team to keep the GroupM network safe, while ensuring GroupM China continue to digitalise its talent initiatives, while increasing diversity and online learning, while reducing churn.
