Shivani Maharaj prides herself on telling the stories of brands in creative and engaging ways that connect emotionally. As Wavemaker ANZ’s Chief Content & Partnership Officer, she is charged with adding creativity to media in the form of branded and addressable content, influencer marketing, branded entertainment, and sporting partnerships, among other solutions.

Managing a team of 10 with four direct reports, Shivs has built Wavemaker’s Content & Partnerships division into the agency’s creative hub – regularly pitching against creative, digital, social and PR agencies – and redefining what a media agency can do.

Her creative approach extends across all aspects of Wavemaker clients’ businesses, helping provoke growth and drive results for brands such as Netflix, DoorDash, Colgate-Palmolive, L’Oréal and Airbnb, and gaining several awards shortlists and wins along the way.
